Nischal Wanem is a Gen-Z cultural activist, researcher, and student dedicated to the study and promotion of Yakthung history, culture, and Mundhum. He creates educational content on Yakthung heritage, traditions, and identity, reaching wide audiences through social media and digital platforms.
He previously served as Joint Secretary of Yakthung Yuwa Manch, Morang and is associated with the Yakthung Limbu Heritage Archives, where he contributes to efforts aimed at preserving Yakthung language, history, and indigenous knowledge
